All right, although the number of people that read this blog is still bellow 5, here is a whole new level: turnaround.xye. It is mostly about turner blocks. It has two star challenges, so if you want a new challenge , this is a good place.
To install it, place the file in the levels subfolder (windows) or /home/yourusername/.xye/levels (Linux and similar).
Update: This level has been modified a little. It should now be easier to solve it without getting the stars.
Maybe in the next update for Xye you can add these levels you posted onto the blog plus others to the basic Xye level set which currently has 50 levels?
ReplyDeleteI usually add levels released before. In the case of the many levels I am releasing here, I don't know what I will do. Right now I am liking the idea of there being 50 official levels in levels.xye. Because when a level file has too many levels it becomes harder to navigate. So most of the new levels will probably appear as extras separated from levels.xye.
ReplyDeleteThough it is likely the best of the new levels that cover a concept better than one of the levels in levels.xye could replace the old one. I really like this level, for example. Although I think I would remove the 0 red timer and the wall next to it in the future.
If you want my word for it, keep the levels.Xye file as it is, and just add these individual levels to a separate file titled something like weblevels.Xye. I personally don't mind there being a ton of levels per set; as you made it so you can skip levels in Xye without having to clear them, so for me, it's not a big deal.
